Monki Wide Leg Belted Trouser (BUY HERE)                          & Other Stories Silk-Blend Shirt (BUY HERE)

Cheap Monday Raw Fleece Sweatshirt (BUY HERE)              Cheap Monday Bang Bomber Jacket (BUY HERE)
Monki Faux Fur Cross Body Bag (BUY HERE)                   Whistles Pointed Loafer Heeled Boots (BUY HERE)

Just a few things i've been lusting after recently.

Spotted this Cheap Monday bomber on Erika Bowes instagram and have since been craving the feel of padded silver kimono sleeves on my person ever since.
I slightly cheated with this wish list because i do actually own a pair of black pointed patent boots but Whistles trumps Topshop every single day of the week so (i think) it's allowed.
Monki's long grey tunic top would be perfect for me to wear when i'm gonna be in the studio all day and want something comfy, lightweight and effortless stylish - i can just picture it with black skinny jeans and boots, alongside the paint splattered face and messy bun i most definitely would be sporting that day.
The rest needs no explanation; fluffy, shiny and casual muted v-neck, done.

PLAYLIST // OCTOBER

Thought i'd start doing a monthly playlist of my favourite soundcloud picks of the month seeing i probably spend half the month on there looking for good tracks...

October is nearly over which means i have loads of likes building up on my soundcloud page; this month (and every month if I'm honest) i've been really loving funky remix of old artists, e.g. two of favourites Al Green and Otis Redding. Recently i've become obsessed with anything that's a remix of a song that was pretty funky to begin with, am i the only one who thinks they are usually better than the original?

My true of the month has been Chet Faker - his normal stuff is pretty damn good to start with, but then he has to go an collab with dj and just produce such sick tracks, it kills me.

Sam Smith has also recently become a contender for next month, watch this space...

JACKSON POLLOCK

Mr Pollock is one of my favourite artists; i think the sporadic splats just look amazing piled on top of one another and his colour schemes are so clever, who knew teal, orange and baby blue went together?
I'm so envious of him, he looks so free and liberated just going crazy with the paintbrush, so in his element. Hans Namuth did such a good job capturing the essence of him and his work, i've been in awe of him and Namuth since i first laid eyes on both their work.
Out of all the different kinds of art, abstract and expressionistic is one of my favourites - i love how something so random, that just looks like a mistake unless you really study it, can sum up a feeling or a thought so cleverly.

Right, enough fan grilling for one day...
